She was born in Cincinnati and raised in Delaware, graduating from Delaware Christian School and currently attending Mount Carmel College of Nursing. She came to work at FAAWC through a connection to one of the doctors. "Dr. Graebner has known me ever since I was little," Brenna says. "She offered me a position, and I enjoy the opportunity to work at this practice." In her time away from work Brenna enjoys watching her younger sister, Erin, play volleyball for Cedarville University, as well as travel and hike. Kez Mitchell - Patient Care Coordinator
June 9, 2014
A longtime elementary educator, Kez decided to do “something different” by joining our office. Now, instead of educating children, she serves the needs of patients ... by getting answers from doctors, scheduling appointments and facilitating communication. Kez was born and raised in Licking County. She graduated from Otterbein University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, then earned her master’s in education at Kent State. Away from work she likes to read and spend time with her family. She has three boys – Jonah, Elijah and Isaiah – with her husband, David.
Dawn Pendleton - Podiatric Assistant
Aug. 11, 2014
Dawn's love of medicine and helping people began when she volunteered in a nursing home when she was 13. Today she loves the variety (orthotics, wound care, maintenance) she sees while working at FAAWC. Born and raised in Delaware County, Dawn graduated from Buckeye Valley. She has two daughters, Sydney and Devyn. Sydney serves in the U.S. Navy, and Devyn plays volleyball at Buckeye Valley. Away from work Dawn enjoys taking daytrips, reading, spending time with her family and watching her girls play sports. She also is a big Cleveland Cavaliers fan.
Elia J. Ali - Practice Director
Sept. 2, 2014
As FAAWC’s practice director, Elia is responsible for the smooth operation of our office – from paying the bills, to dealing with vendors, to helping our patients. Elia previously worked as an administrator for a podiatry practice in New Mexico, so she knows firsthand what makes us stand out. “I really like all of the community events and how the staff gets involved,” she says. “It’s more about the community and not just about the day-to-day activities. (FAAWC) just happened to be looking for a practice director at the same time I was looking for a practice to direct. It was a fortuitous series of events.” Fortuitous because Elia had just moved back from New Mexico and was looking for work. Born and raised in Virginia, she moved to Ohio when she earned a scholarship to Denison University in Granville. Then she never left Central Ohio, until she “followed a boy who got a job in New Mexico.” After becoming engaged to that boy, Reyan, they returned to Ohio, where they were married in 2016.
Heather Adkins - Billing Specialist
April 6, 2015
Heather is another one of FAAWC's billing specialists, who submit claims to insurance companies and handle patients' bills. Heather was born and raised in Marion, graduating from Harding High School in 1992. Knowing she wanted to get into the medical field but didn't want to have direct physical contact with patients, Heather pursued an education in billing. After she graduated from Pinnacle Career Institute in November 2013, she worked in accounts receivable for a year before coming to FAAWC in April 2015. She has two kids and loves the outdoors, especially camping, hiking and kayaking.
Annie Collins - Document Specialist
July 6, 2015
If it has anything to do with paper documents at FAAWC, it's a good bet Annie is involved with it. She scans paperwork into patients' electronic records, shreds paperwork and even opens the mail. Annie is involved with Special Olympics, and she enjoys bowling. She also has two handsome nephews, Logan and Lucas. She enjoys watching ABC Family to catch shows such as "Reba," "The Middle" and "Last Man Standing."
Jill Schultz - Public Relations Assistant
Aug. 3, 2015
After a consulting career that saw her create and facilitate leadership, management and customer service technologies for corporate clients, Jill chose to put the skills she learned into action here at FAAWC. She adds value to FAAWC by communicating with our new patients to ensure a smooth welcome to the practice. She also forms relationships with referring doctors’ offices and designs and facilitates company meetings. Jill graduated from Bowling Green State University in Education and Psychology and earned a master’s in Montessori. Her love of learning led to leading teams of educators in the banking business and service to many corporate clients across the United States. She serves on the executive boards of the Westerville Symphony and Otterbein University. She and her companion, Bill, love concerts, theater, the outdoors, travel and sharing time with children and grandkids in Florida and Chicago. They live on Hoover Reservoir, where kayaking and canoeing can fill a spring day.
Candel Gleim - Receptionist
Aug. 14, 2015
While Candel's job title is "receptionist," you're more likely to get to work with her on your way out of our office than on your way in, because she works FAAWC's checkout counter. Candel graduated from Highland High School in Marengo and Columbus State University. She has two guinea pigs and likes to read and play video games in her free time.
Kyle Shanks - Podiatric Assistant

Linda Knauber - Insurance Specialist
Jan. 21, 2016

Linda is a dedicated runner, having competed in the Rock ’n’ Roll Half Marathon in Las Vegas. She’s been married for 33 years (as of February 2016) and has two boys.
Renee Stahl - Billing Specialist
Oct. 18, 2016
Renee is a homegrown product, having been born in Columbus, raised in Delaware and a graduate of Buckeye Valley. Her daughter being a patient opened the door for Renee at FAAWC, where she's right at home with our patient-focused approach to care. "I love the idea of helping people, big or small, with whatever I can do to make the patient's experience pleasant," she says. "Patients truly love to feel they are being listened to and know you care that they keep coming back." As with our patients, it's the people that Renee thinks make FAAWC stand out. "The doctors and staff are wonderful," she says. "Everyone has been amazing in welcoming me into the practice. The doctors and staff truly excel at providing the best care." Renee enjoys spending time with her family, including husband John, and watching her children - Maddie, Abby and Christopher - in their sporting activities. She also loves to cook.
Tori Sanders - Receptionist
March 9, 2017
Tori's reason for getting into the medical field fits perfectly with FAAWC: "I like being a part of helping people feel their best," she says. Born and raised in Delaware, Tori graduated from Rutherford B. Hayes High School, then earned an IT degree from Marion Technical College. Like many others who have come to work at FAAWC, Tori's initial connection to us was personal. "My family has been coming to Dr. Jane since 1990. I found an ad that FAAWC was hiring, and I was excited to explore a new avenue in my career. Everyone here is very friendly; they've accepted me into the family. And the doctors are all focused on helping people and giving back to the community." Her non-FAAWC family includes two dachshunds, which are her "babies." In her personal time Tori enjoys watching movies, riding roller coasters, shopping and "messing with computers." Oh, and if you happen to notice a dimple when you see Tori at the front desk ... When she was 6, Tori ran into a doorknob when she was disoriented after falling off of her parents' dresser.
Jacqueline Patterson - Podiatric Assistant
April 3, 2017
Jacqueline's smile is a welcome addition to FAAWC's hallways. Born and raised in Central Ohio, Jacqueline graduated from Westerville South High School before heading to Fortis College and becoming a certified medical assistant. "I enjoy helping others and have always had interest in the medical field," she says. Like many others before her, Jacqueline has found FAAWC to be a very welcoming place. "Everyone is very outstanding and helpful." Jacqueline has a daughter, Aubri, who was 4 as of April 2017. Jacqueline enjoys spending time with her daughter, being outside (camping, kayaking) and attending concerts and race car events.
Tosha Heineman - Podiatric Assistant
April 5, 2017
Tosha is another patient-turned-employee, in part because of how well she was treated by the doctors and staff at FAAWC. So she knows firsthand what makes FAAWC special: "Friendly atmosphere. Amazing doctors and medical assistants who work great together. The quality of patient care and open (immediate access) hours to serve the needs of patients," she says. Tosha was born and raised in Delaware, graduating from Rutherford B. Hayes High School before going on to become a certified clinical medical assistant (CCMA) and state-tested nurse aide (STNA). "What I enjoy most (about health care) is that there's always an opportunity to do something that no one has ever done." Tosha loves spending time with her two children, Cassius and Cy. She also enjoys camping, 4-wheeling, amusement parks, reading, planting flowers and gardening and watching football and "Outlander."
